Diavik Diamond Mines: Assembly, shipping, receiving, constructing, and operating the largest rock crusher in canada in order to build the A418 refrigerated dike with a group of dedicated professionals. Raglan: Constructing, operating, and foreman (primarly the electrical installations) of the portable crushing unit & generators on site, the largest being 1.25MW caterpillar diesel. Various other electronic repairs also completed on drilling equipment. Nunavik Nickel: Constructing, operating, and foreman (primarly the electrical installations) of the portable crushing unit. Not yet possesing a formal education in 2005, the roles occupied were primarly high intensity physical labour such as Steel structure assembly, Shipping&Loading, Welding, and shoveling. Albeit seeming mundane in nature these roles were of prime importance due to the size and ambition of the project. An incomparable record of safety, extreme productivity, and creativity led to many other positions such as safety officer, labour foreman, mechanic, electrician, and finally general foreman.
