The main result of this work was Iyulú, an educational software authoring tool whose main ideas evolved to become CREATE Together in year 2000, a software tool to produce educational software for CD, intranets and e-learning on the Web. CREATE Together is now published and owned by Bytes of Learning Incorporated, a Canadian company based in Toronto. Dr. Agüero directed more than 50 graduate thesis at ITCR in areas such as educational software for learning disabilities, educational games, mathematical models for collaboration and group decision-making, network design, educational software for learning disabilities, curriculum-based educational software, e-learning, e-government, ICT strategic planning, collaboration technologies and platforms, and group decision-making software, particularly with emphasis on Web technologies.
