- Developed highly stretchable knitted electrical components of very contrasting electrical properties integrated into an all knitted soft wearable for prognosis of mobility conditions in elderlies as part of the SUTD Growth Plan Healthcare project. - Contributed to development of extensive datasets characterizing the sensor response and knee joint kinematics of healthy subjects for a range of exercises (under both controlled and real-life conditions), as PI of the pilot study on Wearable Joint Motion Sensors approved by IRB. - Developed deep learning models for accurate Human Activity Recognition across multiple subjects and activities. - Developed and optimized deep learning models to account for underlying complex electro-mechanical response of the sensor. - Contributed extensively to characterizing the complex electro-mechanical response of the sensor, characterizing the skin strain for optimal placement of sensors, design and development of custom circuit boards for data acquisition and wireless transmission, and development of an app interface for data logging and visualization on Android based smartphone device.
