I had the chance to work with Ugis for nearly 5 years and we were schoolmate for 2 years before that. It has always been a pleasure to work with him as he is very committed to the tasks he's been assigned to and very pro-active on his approach. He is naturally passionate about audio and everything related to it but also has a lot of interests in MANY other fields which makes professional and personal conversations very enjoyable and productive.

Ugis proposed and supervised my Master’s Internship project at SE Audiotechnik. Afterwards, we worked closely for two years in the R&D department, mainly around the design, calibration and proper application of professional sound systems. However, his interest, knowledge and skills go far beyond this domain, including also signal processing, room acoustics, power electronics, live sound, project management, and manufacturing processes, just to mention some. These technical capabilities are enriched by his wide musical background, and strengthened by his personal and professional qualities. Among many, it is worth to highlight his amazing creativity, unstoppable energy, thorough work and kind honesty, which make him always find new and better ways to do things. On top, his constant will to helping others makes Ugis a great colleague and, his funny jokes and excellent music taste, make him an ideal office mate.
