  During the nine months period, my research project was based on a patent work for proposing a shorter, economical, and viable pathway for the synthesis of a pyridine azomethine class of molecule Pymetrozine, which is a marketed insecticide for aphids and whiteflies. Because of the nature of my project, I have the experience in rapid scale-up reactions from milligrams to grams and higher. Besides the project work, I acquired the knowledge in a variety of laboratory works.
