  Funding • Determine funding requirement and formulate funding strategy in consultation with the EVP/GM, Finance and Group CFO, via equity and/or debt funding to effectively meet the Group’s funding gap. • Conduct internal assessment on the financial models to ascertain the viability of projects for debt funding. • Negotiate financing terms with the financiers to ensure competitive terms are granted to the Group • Execute and conclude debt funding in a timely manner, by liaising closely with internal parties (corporate strategy, legal, company secretary, tax & finance, project development) and external parties (solicitors & banks) throughout the documentation process. • Ensure loan compliance of the financing terms on a timely basis. • Seek financiers’ approvals for changes to the financing as and when required. Cash & liquidity management • Assess cash requirements of operating entities and specific projects, and anticipating challenges arising from limited cash flow. • Strategize and manage placement of cash in the financial markets to ensure adequate and timely liquidity to meet cash requirements, and secure optimal returns on cash placements. • Review and recommend products and services which are required for the Group’s operations.
