Beckhoff Automation are a multinational company specialising in the development of PC-based control and automation systems with a suite of products covering computation, motion, vision and interfacing. I was an intern working to complete an assigned project across 10 weeks. My project was to integrate Beckhoff's TwinCAT Vision software package with an XPlanar system. In this role I: - Developed software in Structured Text to perform configuration, acquisition, triggering and image analysis with a Mako G319-C camera via the GiGE Vision standard. - Developed software to perform configuration, initialisation and motion planning for an XPlanar system. - Integrate vision hardware with the hardware for the XPlanar transport system. - Presented the end-result of my project with a report, video and in-person presentation.
