Working in tandem with the Managing Director/Lead Strategist, my role as Art Director at The Mad Empire entailed taking the lead on all creative and design projects throughout the studio, as well as working & guiding design staff towards the outcome of a collaborative creative vision. Also integral to the role is presenting conceptual development and liaising with clients, ensuring that the projects are kept on track with the client's goals & needs.

My experience at The Freeform Foundry reinforced my abilities to work with speed & efficiency. Creating fully resolved branding concepts, responsive websites, digital advertising, printed collateral, & signage applications on considerably quick turnarounds. Conducting client meetings & presentations, this experience honed my client-side skills; allowing full contact through the design process; briefing, design direction, conceptual development, concept presentation, execution, analysis & evaluation.

My internship at Longtail plunged me deep into the depths of digital & was my first exposure into UX & UI design thinking. Creating graphics for web, through to facebook audience-engagement apps, & developing concepts for POS advertising are just some of the projects I worked on. My experience at Longtail was exceptional for gaining industry knowledge & observing digital designers, front & back-end developers and creatives in a vibrant environment. Junior Graphic Designer
-
Feb 2013 - May 2013
During my time at Form Designs Australia, I was responsible for undertaking product branding and packaging work under the guidance of the Senior Graphic Designer. This experience taught me a great deal of abstract thinking; how to present & position products through their physical traits and the needs they solve. Working closely alongside Industrial Designers, I worked on various packaging briefs and collaboratively deduced design solutions. Further experience from the role included presenting directly to clients, storyboarding product advertising, studio photography for products, & producing factory prototype reports.
