• Lead team of eight to provide satellite, radio, and IT systems while remote of any support in Thailand.• Trained team members whose responsibilities changed from telephony-switching to network switching & routing.• Developed curriculum to help train Marines whose job description was changed into a Network Engineer. Training included IPv4, Subnetting, and Cisco Switching and Routing Fundamentals.• Upgraded 43 Marine Corps servers in virtualized environments across three Navy vessels from Server 2008 to Server 2012 R2 maintaining all user accounts and profiles. • Upgraded eight Exchange Servers from 2003 to 2010 with zero information and accounts lost. • Implemented and installed Voice-over-IP Secure through Cisco Unified Call Manager. • Planned Data Communications that were deployed to Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, and Australia. • Planned and constructed an On-the-Go server/network suite meant to be taken aboard Navy vessels and support up to 70 high-priority users. This suite included Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Exchange 2010, Cisco Unified Call Manager, a Windows Server Update Service, Video-Teleconference systems, and Cisco Networking devices. Supervised 11 Marines while successfully deployed the suite.
