-In addition to normal duty requirements, assistance was needed to sometimes support sick call patients, prepping/seeing/assisting with as many as 100+ patients a day. -Contacted, consulted and scheduled appointments for female patients that were delinquent on their well women and mammogram screenings exams, meeting and exceeding the 85% weekly contact requirement. -Maintained operational readiness by ensuring the medical readiness of 150+ military members, as well as provide medical assistance to both civilian and contractor staff on the base. -Performed in high stress environment while working as a team supervisor to achieve deployment medical goals. -Maintained crash cart readiness and sometimes called to perform duty multiple times a day during deployment in/to a hostile environment. -In a fast-paced deployed environment, medical service to 40-50 triaged patients a day, in which you have to obtained chief medical complaints, medical histories, as well as medication intake to support the doctors and nurses in quick evaluations to save lives. -Performed approximately 25-30 phlebotomy sticks and EKGs per day regularly, but during medical exercises, service to over 100+ personnel can be handled in a 24-hour period. -Trained new deployed medical staff on quality control procedures for a deployment environment. Obtained proficiency in working with the Aeromedical Electronic Resource Office (AERO) System, for aviation physical exams. -ESAMS Training Coordinator for the Unit, conducted 3 monthly safety and education classes for 47 Unit sailors and contributed to a 10% increase to 85% in readiness and training compliance. -Coordinated the patient flow for over 100 patients in the Branch Dental Clinic, contributing to both an increase in patient satisfaction and dental readiness by 93.5%. -Prepared patients for medical tests, examinations and labs, which may include performing venipunctures, injections and diagnostic procedures, and ancillary tests.
