I joined Deloitte, Touche & Tohmatsu ZA straight out of university as a Consultant in Deloitte Analytics (Risk Advisory) after completing my Masters in Data Analytics. The main focus of my experience has been advanced techniques for analytics in data migration, in the financial services industry, clients and industries industry, data visualization and business analytics. Some key experiences at the firm:• Built a QlikView model which visualises the HFM Roll Up structure of a company. The model had the capability of drilling down to any account for any underlying entity that belonged to the company, at any given point in time. The model demonstrated historical trends for better insights and understanding on each entity.• Developed a Power BI model which visualises monthly analysis on the JSE Top 300 Companies. This model combined the company’s Revenue (SAP) and Opportunities (Phoenix), Market Capital and Non-executive director associations data to gain more insights for future decisions around which service to deliver to which client.• Formed part of another data migration project at another client. My role was to manage, validate and migrate warehouse management systems as an extension of Inventory Management (IM) from one platform to another.
