It was truly my great pleasure to work with Tyler at CCNB. I always looked forward to our committee meetings and other encounters because he is so unfailingly cheerful and positive. Tyler worked in two very different departments and quickly mastered the demands of each. He was rapidly promoted because of his obvious competence and his eagerness to take on new challenges. He has exceptional interpersonal skills with both clients and staff. I was often struck by what a creative thinker he is, always coming up with new solutions to a wide range challenges. I hope I have the pleasure of working with him again.

As the Deputy Director, I oversaw CCNB’s programming through the Career Pathways, Natural Resources, and Zero Waste departments. This included collaborating with partner agencies in Marin, Sonoma, and beyond to design impactful conservation work experience projects and develop pathways to employment for CCNB’s Corpsmembers. I also led the contracting, grant writing, and reporting processes for CCNB’s work in areas such as fire fuel reduction, habitat restoration, flood prevention, trail construction, material recovery and recycling, construction, and more.
