Employed as a Researcher for the Welsh Conservative Group in the Welsh Parliament. Within this role, I have held a number of responsibilities including: • Assisting with the co-ordination of the Group’s Parliamentary business, including: drafting and tabling motions to be debated within Plenary; researching Group debates and submitting debate briefings to Members; drafting and submitting written and oral questions. • Providing informative briefings to Members on a plethora of policy issues, local and national issues and contemporary developments in a timely manner. Furthermore, I conduct research on national issues and developments within comparative regional legislatures. • Drafting the Group position on policy and external campaign issues. • Developing policy proposals and scrutinising policy and legislation created at a Welsh, devolved, and UK level. • Establishing effective relationships and working collaboratively with external stakeholders and different service areas within the Parliament and representing the Group at stakeholder events.
