  I was responsible for inspecting the work of the contractor on a highway realignment and bridge replacement within PennDOT District 11. This large muli-year project included the largest stream relocation in the state of Pennsylvania. As an intern, my responsibilities included making sure the project was built in accordance with the construction plans, documenting the work, and verifying work for payments to the contractor. I was also individually assigned a bridge to inspect as part of the overall project since the project engineer was comfortable with the quality of my work.
