The governance department includes managing the Tripartite Forum, Specific Claims Research, Post-Secondary Education, Membership and Indian Registry Administration, and Electoral Services. My department is currently developing frameworks and strategies for self-government and the devolution and transfer of programming from the Federal Government. We are also engaging member communities to advocate for legislative changes that support greater self-determination.
