      I worked with the National Youth Council of Malawi (NYCOM) as an intern through the Centre of Property Studies at the University of New Brunswick. During my internship my focus was writing proposals and concept papers for project funding, helping to create an monitoring and evaluation system for the organization registered under NYCOM and to assist in launching various NYCOM initiatives. During my internship I also assisted at Kauma Village school. At the school I assisted in reviewing there accounting practices, and assisted in revising certain practice to meet the standards required by international aid agencies. In addition I worked with fellow interns in creating extra curricular activities for the children at the school.
