  My responsibilities as a head life guard included supervising between 2-10 lifeguards at a time in an aquatic area with a max capacity of 240 patrons. I was responsible for overseeing aquatic programs such as swimming lessons, swim team practices, and swim meets, along with providing and organizing group swim lessons through private schools and home school programs. I was also responsible for staff scheduling, maintaining a lifeguard rotation and insuring that staff members are getting their brakes, and evaluation of swim instructors and lifeguards. As a lifeguard instructor certified through the American Red-cross I also was able to teach and certify trainees in lifeguarding, first aid, CPR/AED, Blood-born pathogens, and emergency oxygen.
