Entertainment Costuming Supervisor/Lead

Working as an Entertainment Costuming Lead/Supervisor for both Star Wars Launch Bay in Tomorrowland and Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. Trouble shoot tech issues with our gesture recognition technology, over see and am responsible for a crew of 5 to 15 costumers and assist with 8 to 20 performers. Work with both the character department and tech services to ensure that both locations run smoothly for daily operation.

Entertainment Costuming

Costuming entertainment performers. Pre-set costume pieces, assist dress/undress of performers, collect costumes and underdressings. Send costumes to off site vendors for laundry and repairs. Document when costumes are leaving and return from vendors. Work with specific characters in the park. Work in the Hyperion Theatre for Frozen Live! Blacktrack trained. Assist in quick changes, pre set and striking the show for Frozen. Helped reopen and work on Paint the Night Electrical Parade. Work with costume pieces that have various types of led lights and electronics. Responsible for building the costume and insuring all the different electrical components are put in the right location and connected properly. Assist Parade Maintenance in troubleshooting when a costume goes dark or isn’t lighting properly. Help dress/undress performers safely into these costumes.Trained and work in Special Events for the Costuming Department. Pre-Set/Build Costumes for various types of events and character fittings. Dress performers for various events both on and off property. Have valid passport to help with events internationally when called upon.Work in Star Wars Launch Bay at the Disneyland Resort. Working with characters from the movies. Trained in gesture recognition and help prep the costumes as well as dress the performers for these characters.Opening team for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in the Entertainment Costuming department.
