Guest Services Representative
-
Mar 2014 - Present
I was responsible for the day to day front desk tasks alongside my colleagues. These duties would include checking people in/out, answering phone calls, handling any billing issues or concerns with guests, tending to any needs from either guests or fellow employees. I would also help train new hires whenever I was needed if my supervisors or managers were unable to. I would see to it that our banks at the desk were in order, whether it be our personal banks or the main desk bank. If guests were having a function in any of our banquet halls I would direct them to them as well as relay any information passed along to the front desk by our sales department about their event or function. I also needed to be very informative of our hotel's policies and procedures to ensure the continuity of the day to day operations performed by the front desk, as well as be informative of local attractions or pother points of interests to which I could inform our guests.
