Tyler was a key member of my social media team. He consistently demonstrated a solid work ethic, was self-motivated, methodical and detail orientated in his approach. He played a key role in not only executing our social media strategy but also in developing and fostering relationships internally with other departments such as Sponsorship and PR. I would not hesitate to recommend Tyler for any social media role, and would be happy to have him work as part of my team in the future.

I started out as unpaid matchday support in January 2014, providing social media updates during games and pre-match/post-match interviews for the club's website. When the full-time Media Officer left in March, I took over the role on a part-time basis until the summer alongside my university commitments towards the end of my first year at Staffordshire University. My responsibilities were that of a normal job for a Media Officer, including updating the club's official website, updating social media channels, contributing to and editing the club's matchday programme, organising and conducting pre-match and post-match interviews with players and staff, dealing with incoming and outgoing scout requests and creating press releases both for the club and the Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT).During this time, I enhanced my video creating and editing skills, as well as becoming familiar with the FLi system, despite having no formal training on it.I had to carefully split my time between work commitments as well as what was required of me at university, a task that was made more challenging by managing the department in the run up to and during the 2014 Play-Off Final. During a hectic but exciting time, I received a lot of positive feedback from my employers, as well as local and national press, for the way things were dealt with whilst having such little experience at a young age.As well as the responsibility of being the only employed member of the department, it was a earning curve that I feel will enhance me massively both now and in the future. I feel as though I developed new skills, especially the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. After again being placed in charge on my own on an interim basis, I left the role in November 2014 in order to focus on my university workload.
