As a research intern, I worked in a lab of graduate and post-doctoral students researching computational seismology. During this period of time, I was able to further develop my programming and research skills. While there, I worked on developing methods to predict the flooding of rivers with remote seismometers. I was also introduced to working on the Institute for Cyber-Enabled Research's High-Performance Super Computer. I then presented this work at the Mid-Michigan Symposium on Undergraduate Research Experiences. Show less
