This included, but was not limited to creating a multi-currency feeder structure which reduced anticipated hedging costs by ~65%, working with the investment committee and deal team to identify and acquire potential seed assets, setting policies and procedures that limit phantom taxes attributable to quarterly rebalancing. • Worked closely with numerous GPs and fund sponsors, from conception to wind up, on how to structure, operate, and deploy capital in both open-ended funds and closed-ended funds. • Advised the leading institutional investors on the economic viability of proposed investments with the average deal size ranging from $200m - $1b+. The advice would range from how to enter existing fund structures, working with legal counsel to ensure all side letter provisions were sufficient to protect the investor’s interest, and preparing and reviewing various types of financial models and marketing material. • Lead a team of 5 and built a forward-looking model in Excel (with visualization components built in PowerBi and Tableau) to track assets held in a $30b+ portfolio and predict the portfolio composition if certain market changes were to occur. • Conducted financial and tax due diligence for domestic (REIT and asset level) and international acquisitions ranging from $200m-$1b+.
