I was one of the original staff members who reopened the house in 2012. On a daily basis, I was responsible for the care and safety of 8 children between the ages of 13-18. I personally trained 3 other staff members and often helped with the Assistant Program Managers' duties. I was heavily involved with the company's upper management and was involved in creating and forming many of the now used methods and work ethics applied in all of the residential programs. Before I left Child & Family I worked directly with the head of the clinical department to create the Vicarious traumatization (VT) group. This was done to offer staff suffering from VT the ability to receive free group therapy provided by the company. Show less

As an assistant manager, I had to manage the other employees, trained new staff and was in charge of nightly bank deposits. I was also a "keyholder", so depending on the shift I was responsible for opening or closing the store.
