Benable allows you to create recommendations and lists for... basically anything (think products, travel destinations, top doctors in your area, or places for lunch). I got a chance to help with building out the Benable app, both front-end (Svelte/JS) and back-end (Ruby on Rails). Later, when we secured additional funding, I led the hiring, management, and technical leadership of the software team, which spanned across the 2 product suites and grew to 11 people over the course of 15 months. While at SHYFT, I led the software side of the creation of our two product suites: - SHYFT Connect, an advanced asset management platform that helps companies provide energy as reliably, affordably, and cleanly as possible. - SHYFT FlexView, a platform for tenant submetering & billing, with applications for residents as well as energy providers.
