      I am responsible for knowing the Gator II system, and learn on the display nodes. Which Consist of the QCN, LCN, and the Helmsman.       As a Air Gun Mechanic my main concern is the life of the Air Gun. I have worked with Bolt !500 and !900 Air Guns. Including the Ll, LLX, and the LL XT. I also have used the basic Solenoid that attaches to the Bolt Air gun, and i know the operations of both the Air Gun and the Solenoid. We are also responsible of anything that may go wrong on the Gun Deck, this includes: Air Guns, Solenoids, Chains, Shackles, Bolts, Nuts, Mud Hose, Sausage Floats, Gun Plates, Modules, SSMS Manifolds, Umbillicals, Bell Housings, Quads, Airlines, Firing Lines, Pigtail, Y-Jumper, and Spreader Bars. We also need to have a basic knowledge of tools, including: Wrenches, Sockets, Torque Wrenches, Impacts, any vise grip tools, and pipe wrenches. We must have training on the SSMS System, and the Bigshot Controller used for Seismic Exploration. Have a basic knowledge of reading Air pressure, and how to measure things in meters. Also we must have a basic training on the Digi Port Server and the PDI System. This job offers a lot of opportunities for learning new things, and increasing things that you may already know. I was in charge of all the time cards, and making sure what people were working the shuttle van and what people were working the valet station. I did all interviews for new hires, and all background checks on new hires. I was in charge of the cars that were staying over night and made sure they were parked in the 24 hour valet spots. I was in charge of the employee parking lot and making sure no one was who did not work for the hospital parked there. I maintained a constant list of all parking permits and who they were for. I was in charge of all security cameras of vehicles in the main employee parking lot, and also in the valet parking lot. Show less
