For this program, I developed specialized lesson plans for one-on-one tutoring sessions in all subject areas to facilitate academic growth outside of the classroom for individual students. Additionally, I managed homework regiments with students to ensure immediate and future academic success by emphasizing retention and understanding over grades. Every student that I tutored/mentored over the 4-year period I was a mentor saw at least a full letter grade improvement for at least one of the classes they were struggling with as a result from my tutoring.
