  I assisted Dr. James Simmons in conducting experiments with echolocating bats (Eptesicus fuscus) to determine thresholds, TTS after exposure to extreme noise, and sound envelope and harmonic modulation in response to clutter and phantom objects. I wrote MATLAB functions to analyze Inter-Pulse Intervals (IPIs) and grouping of pulses. I received an Undergraduate Teaching and Research Award to conduct additional summer research.
