  I designed and implemented curriculum based upon the California Common Core State Standards, CASPP and AP resources, and data (e.g., NWEA MAP Test, criteria for success). Our high school also placed an emphasis on vertical articulation within the high school and with the middle school. I communicated and collaborated with colleagues in the formation of the curriculum. For most of my time at Triumph Charter high school, I supported students below grade level in reading and writing, fostering a culture of reading through funded library projects on Donor's Choose, book choice, and the guidance of colleagues. Some of these students included English Language Learners and students with Individual Learning Plans. Successes included developing into a more effective educator through regular coaching in the areas of feedback, criteria for success, checks for understanding, and lesson design (e.g., scaffolding).
