  In addition to my duties as a writer and editor, I also am the owner of Eagle Feather Press. I am a USA Today and NY Times Best Selling author, and my "Coyote Still Going: Native American Legends and Contemporary Stories" received the BP 2014 Readers Choice Award for Short Stories Anthologies and Collections." I also work as a consultant in multicultural education and health. I've served as a consultant for the National Science Foundation's Project Syngergy. I've taught Storytelling as a technique to convey very technical information and worked with over a dozen colleges to help them encourage enrollment in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields.
