I worked under TY as one of his assistant managers for the better part of 6 months and kept in contact with him since as a mentor figure for my personal career growth and development. Working under Ty did not feel like it all at any point; the entirety of my experience working with him was exactly that, working WITH him. Ty is very big on empowerment and getting his employees into a mindset where work is fun and we actually have an impact on the results achieved from whatever work is being done. Ty is also very big on leadership and what that actually means. The biggest thing I learned while working beside him was that the job of the leader is to get the job done but to get the job done every single person on the team needs to have a purpose and they need to be able to speak to what their purpose is and how it impacts the results of the overall plan of the team. Through his leadership Ty taught me to overcome imposter syndrome and be able to lead others on a very deep level. He was able to teach me that the most important part of management and leadership is to be about your people and be transparent with them at all times. If anyone reading this is considering hiring Ty Hoffman you should know that you are getting a dedicated, driven, and compassionate leader that will stop at nothing to ensure he and his team are set up for success not only in the present but in the future constant coaching, empowerment, and listening.
