As a Graduate Intern I am researching a scheduling algorithm for BPA's production lines. The aim is to develop a standardized scheduler that improves throughput on a whole class of production lines, without significant configuration.

Loading Bay Foreman, Management Trainee
-
Jun 2011 - Aug 2016
I started out as a stockboy with the Logistics departement during my Bachelor's. Soon after I graduated, I was promoted to Stock Capacity Controller and Loading Bay Foreman (Loscoördinator). In this role I was responsible for the loading bay in the early morning, and jointly responsible for freight planning and warehouse administration throughout the day. In November 2014 I enrolled in the ATMP (Aspirant-TeamManagers Programma) and became responsible for the evaluation and coaching of 10 employees. I switched to the Customer Service departement in September 2015 and took on the role of Frontliner (shift manager, responsible for the cash line and the store's safe) to quickly integrate with the team. After graduating the ATMP in November 2015, I became a full-time Management Trainee. My responsibility shifted: I took shifts as Day Manager and was jointly responsible for the procedures, training and functioning of the cash line & Frontliner teams. Show less
