I led a team of developers in the re-architecture and migration of our existing web-app from vanilla JS and jQuery to AngularJS. In particular responsible for bootstrapping the application, defining and enforcing a style guide and coding conventions, and implementing core features.I designed the REST API for a micro-service based architecture with Swagger.js and created endpoints using Node.js, Groovy and Java.I developed a fully responsive version of our non-responsive legacy web-app using Less and JavaScript. I architected and developed a cluster of servers to provide real-time updates to our core web, iOS and Android app using Node.js, Grails, AWS SNS and socket.io.I architected and developed a web-app and REST API for an internal analytics tool using AngularJS, Node.js, Grails and AWS (EC2, CloudFront, RDS, Lambda, ElasticCache).I mentored junior and intermediate developers through detailed code reviews and technical planning meetings. I represented TradeRev at various career fairs, public speaking events and hackathons. Most recently presented in front of a group of 40-50 future Computer Science graduates at Waterloo. I earned my AWS Solutions Architect certification (still currently certified).
