Turner took my 1 term mentorship, the core focus that we both want to improve is props design, form language, and design solutions, especially with functionality. He's shown range in offering explorative ideas in visual development which I believe shows promise in his concept art potential and more importantly, he diligently studied mechanisms, and ergonomics to make believable designs in concept art alongside bettering his 2D-3D workflow. With his strong yearning to improve as a concept artist, he's also explored on his own, producing concept art with animation to comprehensively present the design he'd want to propose. He has a good understanding of props design alongside offering creative solutions with functionality. Turner, is always looking to better his art by learning from feedback and his willingness to become more competent as an artist. I believe that given the chance to have him work inside a studio or have more creative collaboration in the industry he can elevate his skillset greater.
