  In charge of sports rights and production at Nelonen Media.Ruutu is the home of most of the team sports leagues in Finland, for example Finnish Football League (Veikkausliiga), Finnish Baseball League (Superpesis), Finnish Volleyball League (Lentopallon Mestaruussarja), Finnish Floorball League (F-liiga) and Finnish Basketball League (Korisliiga). Ruutu is also broadcasting top level Basketball with Finnish National Team games and NBA.

  Executive Producer of sports and live in VOD Services in Ruutu and Nelonen Media TV Channels.Ruutu is the home of most of the team sports leagues in Finland, for example Finnish Football League (Veikkausliiga), Finnish Baseball League (Superpesis), Finnish Volleyball League (Lentopallon Mestaruussarja), Finnish Floorball League (F-liiga) and Finnish 1st Division of Hockey (Mestis). Ruutu is also broadcasting top level Football and Basketball with Serie A and NBA. I was also one of the executive producers when setting up one of the most interesting projects with live music during ”the corona spring” when Ruutu produced live concert streams from the rehearsal rooms of the bands and artists.Being an Executive Producer contains planning and building the production from whole seasons to small as well as larger events, managing the given budget, informing marketing and sales about the production, constant communication with our production partners (both Finnish and International) and consulting our Acquisitions team about acquisition of new leagues and events.I believe that one of the most important thing with Sports Production is good relationship with the Sports Associations and the Clubs and that’s why I hold maintaining the relations with them one of the key stones in work.All in all the new season is always a new project and being an Executive Producer is managing the new project.   On September 2016 i was assigned new responsibilities. In addition to my role as a Sports Program Planner I started as a producer with Finnish Football League (Veikkausliiga) and content planner for also Ruutu’s Movies and Reality TV.As a producer I was in charge of the live broadcasts which were broadcasted on FTA Channels Nelonen and Jim. Those broadcasts were called ”Futiskierros” and the concept was to follow all the games from that day. The broadcast contained live studio which was done in collaboration with Ilta-Sanomat.As a Content Planner for VOD I planned the publishing schedule for Ruutu’s movies (at least one per week) and Ruutu’s reality series. This was made in collaboration with Nelonen Media Programming scheduling team and B2C and B2B teams. The programs I worked with were E.g. Masterchef Australia and Paradise Hotel (Norway and Sweden).   I was responsible of planning the programs for 10 Pay TV Channels from Nelonen Pro 1 to Nelonen Pro 10.Two first of the TV Channels were 24/7 channels so the job recquired a wide knowledge of live games’ starting times for both our own and competing channels. I worked closely with the Production Coordinator, Broadcast Designer and Contract Coordinator. The last 8 channels were reserved for live games for Finnish Hockey League which was the most valuable sports right for Nelonen Media and contained almost 500 games per season.I also studied when was the right time to place the reruns of the games and the magazine programs.One part of the job was to inform the TV Magazines about our Programs.From October 2015 my responsible was also handling and informing the sports and marketing team about the finished contracts and their terms and conditions. Also I had to import the contract to our broadcasting software M4 and create unique Program ID’s for the games and shows.During the time period Nelonen held the rights E.g. for Finnish Hockey League (Liiga), Finnish Baseball League (Superpesis), NFL, UEFA Europa League, English Championship, WRC, MotoGP, Rallycross and NASCAR.   I was responsible for the distributing and acquiring the satellite details and connections, booking the downlink with YLE, booking the employees from the production partner maintaining the master list of satellite broadcasts and production ID’s and communicating with the International production teams.During the time period Nelonen held the rights E.g. for Finnish Hockey League (Liiga), Finnish Baseball League (Superpesis), NHL, NFL, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Ligue 1, Golf PGA Tour, Golf European Tour, Golf Majors and NASCAR.   I was responsible of scheduling the daily rundowns for the channels Nelonen Sport & Nelonen Sport Pro.The job contained placing the commercials and filler programs to the rundown so the programs, especially the live games AMD events, started on time they were planned.Communicating with the Program Planner, marketing team and sales was the key part of the job.
