Chief Executive Officer

Jan 2012 - Present
As the CEO of Te Pā I am driven by a purposeful, intentional, and unapologetic approach to disrupt the systemic pipeline of disadvantage for Māori and others in order to whakakaha the cultural, social, economic, and political imperatives of the whānau we work with. Instrumental to this is a strong commitment to leading Te Pā to support the self-determined moemoeā (dreams) and wawata (aspirations) of our people and their whānau in the Justice system. I am committed in the unrelenting pursuit of equal power, control, and authority to deliver transformed status quo and equitable outcomes for Māori by building self-determining and transformational partnerships to ensure increased collective impact for whānau . At the heart of everything I do is enhancing the mana of our people through connecting to one’s whānau, hapū , iwi , marae or waka . Show less
