  Creating custom modules for carriers and integrating them into the company’s main application. My team also manages general interoperability between different solutions in Consignors ecosystem. We also handle import and export data between our clients and Consignor, our flagship solution, as well as the printed labels and freight documents used for individual packages but also for general shipments. Due to the complex requirements of interoperability, we require advanced knowledge of each solutions' workflow and a comprehensive understanding of the frameworks used to develop them. In my work, I have used primarily Python, XML, XSLT and LUA scripting. Currently i'm refactoring an existing component in our system, called Shipment Booking, written in C# and porting it to Python. For project management, i've used Prince2 guidelines and for the actual implementation i've used Django framework for the backbone.With this new project, i am also holding training courses for developers and testersThis project is meant to complete the handing over of shipment booking implementations, from the Webservice team to the Carrier Development team, by creating a dedicated server, for shipment booking modules written in native Python.The Carrier Development team will have full control and management of the new server, along developing new shipment booking implementations and ensure maintenance for said implementations.
