I have had the honor of working with Tucker through his role as an Event Director in Associated Student Productions (ASP) at Sonoma State University (SSU) where I served as the ASP Advisor. Through this role, I was able to see Tucker support his team mates in any capacity he could- through problem solving, working at various events, and words of encouragement. In the ASP Event Director team meetings, Tucker was a constant comic relief through his various jokes and lighthearted humor. As someone who brings a fun time wherever he goes, Tucker is just as supportive and willing to grow professionally. Tucker is continuously reflecting on where he can improve so he can be the best that he can be- when Tucker is invested, he will give it his all! Tucker is not afraid to take his passions, turn them into an event idea, and make them happen. For example, Tucker is a big movie buff and had the idea of building community through a movie program where ASP purchased movie tickets to a new release popular movie and gave them out to students. Initially, the first tickets were reserved for students who had found a laminated movie character directing them to pick up the winning movie theater tickets at the front desk. These characters were hidden around the SSU campus for folks to find- often hidden in places where people would have to look to find future community building events like bulletin boards. The event was a success! Tucker is fun to be around, is eager to help, and is not afraid to work hard! Thank you, Tucker!
