Lavonte Jones

Unparalleled work ethic accompanied by amazing customer service. He exemplifies what employers want to see when employees speak with customers. His past experiences in the workforce make him a great candidate for any job in sales, customer service or marketing! Not to mention, he is studying at KU with above a 3.0 GPA while working at Game 7. Amazing co-worker, friend, and colleague. All around great guy who is flexible, coachable and always looking to learn more!

I was recruited to work alongside Game Seven Marketing for a scavenger hunt in downtown Kansas City. We partnered with Buckle, Oakley, and the Kansas City Chiefs to offer prizes for all participants. The hours ranged from 8am to 5pm. It was an incredible event and I gained tons of experience working with some truly profound companies in the sports world. I worked at Sunflower House in the summer of 2016 with my mother, Brenda Horn. I was brought in and paid weekly for doing basic front desk work including organizing files and learning some very basic office work skills. At the time, I was 16 years old, so it was great experience and I learned a lot from working there. I worked at Sunflower House in the summer of 2016 with my mother, Brenda Horn.
