Worked as the job architect in charge of the Nethersole Hospital Staff Quarters. Responsible from design to tender stage and later as a job architect overseeing contract administration and construction. Duties included preparation of pre-production drawings and tender documentation, design coordination, building submissions and contract administration including approval of construction drawings and materials to ensure compliance with contract, building standards, regulations and specifications. Succeeded in various cost saving proposals to reduce construction cost due to a very tight budget and contractor went into bankruptcy and undertook the reappointment of a new building company. Other main project includes The Nethersole Hospital, a new 642-bed hospital. Project cost: HK$400M. Responsibilities included carrying out alteration works, signage as well as ironmongery packages which required regular meetings with clients to implement the complex and very specific hospital requirements, preparation of drawings for cost quotation and site coordination, also worked as an on-site resident architect responsible for snagging, inspection to ensure high architectural standard was met before handover of completed works to clients
