Tayo and I worked together on a number of projects, most importantly the Michelle Sylvester scholarship in 2008. During the scholarship process, Tayo demonstrated exceptional organization and energy, leading our efforts by coordinating with the schools and students. Our partners, including the teachers, principals and students, respected Tayo not only for his hard work but for his charm and humor. I appreciated his patience and assistance with my poor French. In addition to running the scholarships and working with small business owners in Kaolack, Tayo set up a weekly radio show that allowed volunteers the opportunity to discuss important issues such as malaria prevention. He is an intelligent and ambitious man, but retains his humility and humor that make him such a pleasure to work with.

I worked with Tayo from May 2006 to August 2007. In that time I considered him to be one of my "go-to" people when I had questions or just needed a little extra help. He was well spoken and calm even when faced with stressful situations. He was well liked and, more importantly, trusted. He was always a hard worker. I recently became the Trainer for our department. One of my first tasks was to develop a training manual for new employees. The training manual that Tayo developed for our department in his time here was used as a guide during this process. I made changes based on policy/procedure updates as well as system advances, but his work certainly gave me a head start on the process. Since he for other opportunities domestically and abroad, I have stayed in touch with Tayo. He has remained the same great person I worked with, while expanding his knowledge and experience. I believe he would be a great asset for any company.
