   Used advanced video processing tools and designed novel algorithms to develop a series of surveillance systems for various applications such as tracking people, unusual actions detection, general surveillance etc. Lead a stereo-vision development team to develop robust 3D video surveillance system. Built up a face recognition access control system for secured entries. It includes face detection, recognition, database management, registration and monitoring system. Designed, customized, and implemented a plethora of algorithms to detect metal panel defects in medium / high resolution images for Automated Optical Inspection. Used CUDA to implement some heavy functions, which includes big resolution image registration, image projection etc. Developed a backstage management system, which can interact with more than twenty foreground application at a time and receive alarm events for user’s apps.
