Digital Delivery Lead
-
Nov 2017 - Sep 2019
At Kingfisher, digital transformation programmes are bringing multiple technologies together to create distinctive and differentiated offerings to customers and colleagues. Connectivity is not just a critical enabler of digital transformation; it is the biggest differentiator of success. I lead a feature team that was focused on building a set of highly operable cloud-based API capabilities, patterns and practices that supported continuous delivery. As the API Digital Delivery Lead I was responsible for the delivery of:• An API integration approach, through the creation of easily discoverable and reusable APIs that powered front-end customer experiences• Architecting APIs across the different layers to create a de-centralised and distributed architecture that enabled development speed• Enabling other feature teams to both consume and build APIs

Selecting appropriate methodologies, tools, and technologies.• Management of the pipeline, by ensuring that the right and best solutions are delivered.• Negotiate and challenge the team to create great solutions with solid foundations.• Advocate an environment that the team can design, develop and deploy solutions following an agile spirit and methodology. • Instilling an efficient and powerful dynamic where teams thrive and inspire each other.• Mentor project peers to expand their skill-sets and in return be open to learn from others.

Project Manager Team Lead
-
May 2011 - Jun 2014
I led the delivery of technology solutions for a range of client partnerships, product launches, and internal digital engagement tools e.g. Sitecore. As team lead I had end-to-end view of all delivery, frequently monitoring all activity ensuring that it supported the business strategy and revenue targets. As part of my role I ran my own projects, always ensuring that I led by example. One of my highest profile projects was the successful launch of the UK partnership rights with Manchester United Football Club. I led the delivery of the 'Manchester United Insurance' technology solution along with marketing campaigns that appealed to the target consumer (Manchester United fans).
