This organization has helped me to be involved with the development of liquid fuel rockets. Since August of 2022, I have been involved in the GNC/recovery affairs regarding our rocket development, which includes testing avionics systems on high powered rockets and assisting in the assembly/manufacturing of the parachute deployment system on the current rocket our organization is developing. Furthermore, I am also getting experience with the avionics subsystem and propulsion subsystem for assisting our team during a static firing of a liquid rocket engine (LRE), making effective igniters for a LRE. For static fires, I have been able to work closely with the fluids subsystem and the project manager to perform low pressure testing, click checks for valves, regulators, etc., and checking for leaks at various portions of the static fire stand. Currently, I am the chief engineer of Beach Launch Team, overseeing all projects across every subsystem as well as ensuring smooth communication between the subsystems on different projects and goals pertaining to our rocket.
