As the EHS Manager I provide environmental, health and safety support to the facility and ensure that all practices are in compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements. My team and I continually analyze and conduct risk management assessments across all areas of the facility to determine and ensure that the company complies with relevant state and federal regulations. Including but not limited to OSHA, EPA and Fire codes and standards; I manage EHS practices; administer/implement EHS programs and policies as outlined by federal, state and local regulatory agencies as appropriate and maintain all pertinent records; Act as a company liaison with regards to all regulatory inspections; have all EHS records and files current, organized and audit ready; Manage and oversee all environment, health and safety(EHS) programs, practices, and policies with creation of new programs as deemed necessary to ensure clear expectations and procedures; Lead, foster and develop a culture where safety, health and environment are ingrained as a core value with all employees; Support the implementation of new projects and equipment from an EHS standpoint; Track and trend safety measures, including visual charts and provide regular progress reports to management; Responsible for assisting in the training and development of EHS training programs and communications; I work with the Human Resources department as it pertains to effectively managing injury claims; My team and I participate with incident investigations with facility management, identify and help implement processes and corrective measures to prevent reoccurrence and apply our finding horizontally across the facility to prevent like situations from occurring; I ensure safety inspections, audits and observations are conducted and make technical recommendations for safety improvements throughout the facility; My team and I meet the goals and objectives as outlined by the Executive Management team;
