As the VP of fulfillment operations, I was fully accountable for order fulfillment of perishable products to customers. A key component of my role was to develop the fulfillment center network into 13 ecommerce distribution centers for multiple brands and lines of business. Additionally, I oversaw key areas, including real estate, construction, fulfillment center design, order fulfillment, and leadership development. This role called on me to develop operating and staffing plans to handle 40x, 1-day business increases for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, which involved an increase in staffing of 5K+ employees and peak shipping days exceeding 1,000,000.Key Contributions► Assessed customer data to expand fulfillment network.
