My main project was Lichfield Basin. The site was historically a former canal basin which was infilled and used by larchlap for the manufacturing of fence panels. The site was purchased by Woodford Land with a view to redevelop into a waterside residential development. Working closely with British Waterways, the former canal basin was reinstated and waterside apartment blocks constructed. The work I carried out included desk study, intrusive ground investigation, human health and controlled waters risk assessment using published guideline values, geotechnical appraisal and compilation of a remediation strategy.
