Key Responsibilities/Key tasks:  Work in partnership with the Category Manager to help deliver the annual sales, profit, distribution and market share targets within the market as defined within the annual budget  Support the Category Manager in the development and delivery of a commercially sound category and range plan in partnership with key customers – developing our customer’s business and O’Brien Fine Foods business with them.  Responsible for updating and writing commentary on the monthly reports – ensuring there are no errors or technical issues with charts and circulate to key people within the group each month  Use planogramming software to update retailer planograms and reviews ensuring best possible assortment and flow and that the shopper decision trees are used as the foundation for all projects  Work closely with external continuous data providers to ensure that O’Brien Fine Foods category databases are coded correctly and maintained  Co-ordinate O’Brien Fine Foods merchandising guidelines – keeping up to date with category space allocation and flow guidelines across the marketplace.
