  The QuadW Missional Internship is a program of the QuadW Foundation, an organization which provides financial support to individuals and organizations pursing opportunities in higher education, sarcoma research, and missional experiences. The internship is hosted in cities across the United States, typically with a focus on inner city communities. However, for my internship, I was placed in Riverton, Wyoming on the Wind River Reservation for two months, partnered with a local Methodist church and six other college interns. The internship involved weekly engagement with a local children's shelter, the Riverton United Methodist church, suicide prevention and trauma relief initiatives on the Reservation, and other community reconciliation efforts. I assisted in the creation and execution of summer programming for the children, in the order of Sunday services for the church, and in bi-weekly, locally-led horse therapy events for the communities surrounding Riverton.
