  As a Family and Consumer Science teacher, my classes focus on Early Childhood Development and Education. For my freshman and sophomores, I introduce the career field of Education and Training and incorporate theories in early childhood/human development. My juniors and seniors serve as interns within the school district working with pre-kindergarten students. I manage their schedules, track and log their hours, provide guidance based on mentor teacher feedback, and determine effective strategies to address their areas of need.
