This position is involved in the application of diversified engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments and related fields. Tasks include: · Making decisions independently regarding engineering complexities and methods · Analyzing reports, maps, drawings, tests, etc. in order to plan and design a project · Preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules and designs for project · Assists in the coordination of pricing, estimating, scoping and marketing strategies for proposed projects · Prepares design computations and quantity estimates · Researches code issues · Reviews “shop” drawings · Understands and creates full set construction documentation · Adheres to BA Quality Assurance Program · Coordinates and collaborates with other design professionals who are part of the project team · Develops probable construction cost estimates · May be required to perform field inspections, research, measurements or calculations · Attends client meetings · May serve as onsite project representative
